1. Who We Are
This platform is operated by Amber Kinney / The AKC Collective ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a marketing strategy assessment service. For questions, contact us at amber@theakcollective.com.
2. Information We Collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Assessment data: Your quiz answers, scores, and recommendations are stored to provide your results and track progress over time.
Metric data: Marketing metrics you enter (website visitors, conversion rates, etc.) are stored in your account.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. Stripe provides us with your purchase status and a customer identifier.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and personalize the assessment service
- Calculate benchmark targets based on your business profile
- Process one-time payments
- Send transactional communications (account, billing)
- Improve the Service and develop new features
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
4. Data Processing
Your assessment data is processed on our servers to generate scores, recommendations, and insights based on the Scalable Growth Engine framework. We do not share your individual data with other users. Anonymized, aggregated data may be used to improve the Service.
5. Third-Party Services
- Google OAuth — Authentication provider
- Supabase — Database hosting (PostgreSQL)
- Vercel — Application hosting
- Stripe — Payment processing
Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
6. Data Retention
Your account data, assessment results, and metrics are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete all associated data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies only — specifically a session cookie for authentication (Auth.js). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
9. Security
We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication tokens, database row-level security, and strict Content Security Policy headers. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and never touches our servers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
