1. Who We Are

This platform is operated by Amber Kinney / The AKC Collective ("we", "us", "our"). We provide a marketing strategy assessment service. For questions, contact us at amber@theakcollective.com.

2. Information We Collect

Contact information: To view your assessment results, you provide your first name and email address. No account or password is created.

Assessment data: Your quiz answers, scores, and recommendations are stored so we can show your results, generate your PDF report, and send you a link to revisit them.

Legacy account information: If you previously created an account by signing in with Google, we hold the name, email address, and profile photo Google provided, plus any assessment history and marketing metrics saved to that account. We never receive or store your Google password.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and personalize the assessment service
• Email you your results link and follow-up guidance related to your assessment (you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Improve the Service and develop new features

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Processing

Your assessment data is processed on our servers to generate scores, recommendations, and insights based on the Growth Engine framework. We do not share your individual data with other users. Anonymized, aggregated data may be used to improve the Service.

5. Third-Party Services

• GoHighLevel — Customer relationship management and email delivery. When you submit your email to view results, your name, email address, and assessment outcome (score band and focus areas) are shared with our GoHighLevel account so we can send you your results link and follow-up emails.
• Neon — Database hosting (PostgreSQL)
• Vercel — Application hosting
• Sentry — Error monitoring. Reports are scrubbed of email addresses, IP addresses, and cookies before they leave your browser or our servers.
• Google OAuth — Authentication for legacy accounts only

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

6. Data Retention

Your assessment results and contact information are retained so your results link keeps working and we can follow up with you. To have your data deleted, email us (or use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop communications); we will delete your records within 30 days of a deletion request. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent for data processing

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies only. Viewing your results does not require cookies; legacy account sign-in uses a session cookie (Auth.js). We also store your results locally in your browser so they load quickly. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, unguessable results links, database row-level security, and strict Content Security Policy headers. We never collect payment information through this Service.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
