Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the AKC Marketing Strategy Assessment platform ("Service"), operated by Amber Kinney / The AKC Collective ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides a free marketing strategy assessment quiz, scoring and recommendations based on the Growth Engine framework, and a downloadable personalized report. Results are delivered instantly and a re-access link is sent to the email address you provide.

3. Accounts and Authentication

Viewing your results requires a valid email address; no account is needed. Legacy accounts created via Google sign-in remain supported. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account you hold and for providing accurate information.

4. Pricing

The Service, including the Full Report, is currently provided free of charge. Historical purchases of the Full Report (a one-time $14.97 charge processed by Stripe) remain valid; those users retain access indefinitely. There are no subscriptions, automatic renewals, or recurring billing.

Refunds for historical charges are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you believe a charge was made in error.

5. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, email delivery, and database services (see our Privacy Policy for the full list). We are not responsible for the availability or practices of these providers. Your use of their services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the Service
• Submit false contact information or another person's email address

7. Intellectual Property

The Growth Engine framework, assessment content, scoring methodology, and all original materials are the intellectual property of Amber Kinney / The AKC Collective. Your quiz results and metric data remain your data — see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.
